You may need to look a little closer to find the #8 Budweiser machine during the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway this Sunday. The iconic red paint scheme is being replaced this Memorial Day weekend with a special desert camouflage look, honoring our troops around the globe.
Budweiser will donate proceeds from the sale of the collectible diecast camo cars to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF), which provides full-ride college scholarships to surviving dependents of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel killed in combat or training missions, and immediate financial assistance to special operations personnel severely wounded in the global war on terror. More than 700 dependents currently benefit from the efforts of the SOWF.

looks cool. i wish they could have done the marines digital camis….but im always looking for the oorah in things
i agree with you roxie. OORAH! but also, i think the digi camo woulda been more difficult to paint.

Amazing…Every car should do something like this…on a rotation
Needs a big eagle globe and anchor on the hood
Since it is camouflage, nooooooooone wil be able to see the car.
Nice job Budweiser letting Jr run some cool paint schemes that benefit the troops families. Jayski also has some cool images of a car Jr will run in the Pepsi 400 that will benefit this same foundation.
its NOT PAINT ITS A VYNYL WRAP>>>DERRRR..you do w/e you want with a wrap
They could of done better with the scheme but ya it’s cool they have a scheme to support our troops if that’s what the scheme is about..
I agree with RedDevil, Could have looked better. Also everyone saying it needs a Eagle Globe and Anchor. But I think a Big OORAH would look best.
When troubles in the Middle-east, Call a MARINE!
woopty doo. People run different paint schemes all the time. You don’t see them making a big deal out of it. But then again we’re talking about Dale Jr. here, I forgot!!
To Nascarfan4life24, I think everyone is sick of your comments, let it rest!!! Get over it!!!
the 48 car has had some really cool wraps before
specifically the spongebob wrap, the shamu wrap, the zebra wrap, and the flame wrap. anyone want to see pics?
oh yeah, and SUPPORT OUR TROOPS HORRAY NASCAR!!
it’s greatthat Nascar supports our troops, but do they have to make a great big deal about it just because it’s Jr’s car? What if it was the 24 car? you people would have totally different comments about it.
what do you mean by “big deal”? you mean because autoracingsport.com posts a small article about it? WOO I WOULD LOVE IF 24 DID A SIMILAR SCHEME!!!!!!!!
LOVE NASCAR
I believe that not just the paint scheme is a really
nice slaute here, but the scholarships that go to
the families of war heroes who died keeping our
freedom preserved is ultra-awesome!!
Nascarfan4life24 …I think you missed that point!!
New paint schemes are always fun no matter who’s car they are on. This is pretty neat, change of pace for the ol 8. In honor as well , sweet
NOT A JEFF GORDON FAN, but if he ran a similar paint scheme (or vinyl wrap), i think that’d be AWESOME!!! ‘Nuff said!
Pretty kewl.
Does anyone else find Nascarfan4life24 extremely annoying and uninformed?
“woopty doo.” Can that be flagged as offensive?
I think this wrap is cool! & if you guys would not comment on what Nascarfan4life24 says (i.e. ignore the bad behavior) he won’t be getting what he wants. Attention. That is what you do with toddlers and they soon figure it out. Enough said.
hey mare i agree the REAL story here is portions of money made off merch. goes to the SOWF thats pretty cool any time a major sport “gives back” is worth talking about
NO MATTER WHO THE DRIVER IS
very well put axel
Nascar fans are easily impressed. Noone knows more then me.
I would like to come here again. It sounds god to me, and there’s a lot of interesting information here
