#42 Dodge to honor legacy of Jackie Robinson

Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates announced today that in honor of baseball legend and civil rights leader Jackie Robinson’s 60th Anniversary of his debut into Major League Baseball, they will display a small tribute to him on their #42 Texaco/Havoline Dodge Charger on Sunday, for the Samsung 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
On Sunday, April 15, Major League Baseball will celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Jackie Robinson’s entrance into baseball as all players will honor his legacy on Sunday by wearing a decal featuring his uniform #42 on their helmets. Numerous members of Major League clubs will also wear jerseys bearing #42. The #42 Texaco/Havoline Dodge is driven by former CART champion, Indianapolis 500 winner, Monaco Grand Prix winner and winner of seven Formula 1 races, Juan Pablo Montoya.

It’s sad that he can show respect for a different sport but not the
sport that his in. Maybe Stewart, Kahne, or Earnhardt Jr needs to
remind him which people he needs to show respect for.
