3M Company and Roush Racing announced today that 3M will sponsor the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion in seven NASCAR Nextel Cup races and the full Busch Series in 2007. Greg Biffle will represent 3M in the Nextel Cup Series and will share driving responsibilities with Todd Kluever in the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion for the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series. Biffle is scheduled to drive 19 Busch races for 3M in the 2007 season. Kluever will drive the remainder of the schedule, beginning with the season-opening race February 17th at Daytona International Speedway.

“With Greg and Todd on board, we’re tremendously excited about 2007,” said Bob MacDonald, 3M senior vice president, marketing. “We’re delighted to be back on the track with Greg again and we couldn’t be happier with the way Todd has represented our company in 2006 with fans, customers and employees alike.”

“I’m really looking forward to driving the 3M Ford Fusion again in 2007,” said Kluever. “Everyone at 3M has been so supportive and I’m confident we can take our performance to new levels next year to make 3M’s racing program even more successful.”

Biffle drove the No. 16 3M Post-it Ford in nine NASCAR Nextel Cup races in 2005, winning at California and Texas on his way to finishing second in the Nextel Cup Championship.

“The No. 16 team enjoyed great success with 3M in 2005, so it’ll be great to be back with them next year,” said Biffle. “3M is a terrific sponsor and I couldn’t be happier.”
