WOW! I MISSED THAT PART OF THE RACE! DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT CAUSED THIS?
Sam, I bet Roid Rage caused it! All joking aside, I’m not sure what in the world happened that set this off, but there must have been something that Carl really didn’t appreciate for him to fly off the handle like that. Gotta love some short track racing!
Too bad I was driving back to Charlotte from OH and missed the race!!
Ah–but a friend of mine that works for DEI was probably in the vicinity of that when it happened and he never told me!!
Yes, I’m a verrrrry faithful Edwards fan and I cannot stand Kenseth… so my money would OBVIOUSLY be on Carl–that plus he’s 10x as strong as Kenseth.
….. I wish that Carl really would have punched Kenseth but then Championship hopes would have probably been washed away…. NASCAR and their fines are a bitch.
I agree with you Katelyn, can’t stand Matt, I really wish Carl would leave Roush.. It seems to have been brewing since the Busch race awhile back when Carl was very unhappy with Matt, but I don’t know what happend yesterday on the track with them hope someone does and can let us know. Carl don’t be so nice next time punch him!!!
Hmm, and Carl acted so calm during the post race interview. He seemed happy.
Im not a Edwards fan but that guys buff and I am sure he can throw some bows. Kenseth is a hosrt littel thing he wouldnt put up any fight.
Every time that Kenseth is in a “fight” he always act surprise and scared. If you remember back to bristol when Jeff Gordon shoved him he was scared and surprised. Just once I want to see someone sock him right in the mouth, maybe he won’t be surprised after that…

I’ve noticed that Edwards has turned into a bit of a dooshbag this year, he seems to have grief with everyone who’s popular on the circuit. Sad really as I rate him as a driver.
I’m not mpressed by Kenseth either, not much of a man when you flinch halfway across the track like that, it’s not the first time he has jumped halfway across the track when he’s about to get knocked out. (remember the Jeff Gordon incident?)…I bet Kenseth’s wife feels so secure being with a puss, but she’s probably only with him for the $$$ anyway.

I doubt that Carl is on roids. It’s not like Carl doesn’t have a neck or that his biceps are 32 inches. He just happens to take VERY good care of his body, and I thank him for that.
If you had the luxury of being able to workout EVERYDAY, your body would eventually look amazing too. But, most of us work in the real world and we simply don’t have the time or energy to devote to molding our bodies to look like that, so we settle for average.
Matt is average, and I’m certain that Carl was smiling because he knew Matt was scared. What we couldn’t hear was Matt’s voice cracking.
Per Greg Biffle “Carl door slammed Matt on the restart and then pushed him out of the groove to gain two spaces. Two turns later Matt bumped Carl out of the groove and Gained his spot back.” It appears that carl is showing his true colors. He can dish it out but not take it. Matt is a champion and he is one of racings nice guys. Carl is a young promising driver who should show more constraint.
Carl having “roid rage”….what are you people dumb or what? Why don’t you have a normal opinion. *Carl’s not Chris Benoit, or he would have strangled Matt’s little neck.

It all happened when Sorenson slowed on the restart. Sorenson had a mechanical problem & an engine problem, so he couldn’t get going, which caused all the cars behind him to bunch up and slow down. At this point, Edwards and Kenseth made some contact. It also goes back to the Kansas Busch race, too. That’s why Carl was ticked. I thought Carl was more mature than that, but I guess not.

It showed why I dont care for Carl Edwards. He’s all nice guy in your face on camera but his true colors showed off camera.
I agree! My friend saw Carl at a local track BEFORE he started in Nascar. She was talking to Jack and getting his autograph and Carl pretty much elbowed her out of the way and was VERY rude to her. He is a very good actor in front of the cameras and has alot of people fooled…
