Sterling Marlin has replaced Johnny Sauter as the Nationwide Series driver at Phoenix Racing.
Marlin, 50, will make his first Nationwide start of the season Saturday at his hometown track, Nashville Superspeedway.
I would rather have sauter. He has talent and just needs to develop.
And they call that a step up in driver ?? They were scraping the bottom of the driver pool to get Marlin.
Doesn’t this team have a history of switching drivers 5 races into the season….?
Better to have a has been than a never will be.
Marlin has had a hard time getting a ride for a reason!
He’s still better than Sauter, Btw Sam you need to let the past go everyone makes mistakes.
What happened to letting young drivers get experienced in the nationwide series?
Isn’t Marlin in trouble with someone for blocking or polluting a creek in Tennessee? Stay on the farm Marlin. We already have enough yellow flag laps.
