Hamlin tags Martin, causes 7 car wreck in Bud Shootout practice
The first official day of NASCAR practice also produced the first official wreck of the season.
Near the end of Thursday’s first Budweiser Shootout practice session, Denny Hamlin hit Mark Martin’s car from behind. Seven cars became involved in the wreck and several others scattered into the infield grass.
“Yeah, it’s aggressive bump-drafting,” said Greg Biffle, who was involved in the wreck.
“That’s what we were looking for, aggressive bump-drafting. Trust me, we’re not finished.”
Hamlin must have thought it was BK in front of him and was looking for more payback from last year.
I figure the old man thinks everyone is going to give him room. I watched the wreck. Mark came up on Denny which was in the high line with 3 cars pushing him. I think it was 50-50.
If I think denny a punk does that sway my decision ? 50/50
brad k / kurt bush along with addington
kyle thumbsucker and denny
seems a rivalry has begun go brad off subject …
Craig do us all a favor and think before you type, Kurt and Kyle do have rivalry as do any brothers have,a friendly rivalry!
les i do agree with you, it was a 50/50 thing but i love it, all this means is the season is a here and its time to go racing! the first offical wreck of 2010!

Going to be an interesting year between those two.
wow i see Rowdy dumbass hasnt left a comment yet
listen to the drivers….this new plate is allowing the cars to suck up faster than before…non of the drivers are blaming each other….let’s not start something that doesn’t exist….
88feva atleast Rowdy is smart enough to register and doesnt fill this blog up with worthless comments like some people do
I think Werner is right, with this new plate, not only do the cars following suck up faster but the car up front that plans on moving from lane to lane needs to make their moves quicker then before.
Can’t wait to see what changes Nascar will make to the rules next year if Jr doesn’t make it in the under the existing criteria. After reviewing the rule change and the drivers, I think its very clear there is one team and driver to benefit from this rule change. Although there are other drivers that are now in that wouldn’t have been in under the previous rules, I think we all know why the changes were made. Next year the rule could be if your the son of one of Nascars all time greats, then Nascar will spice it up with an online vote between Kyle Petty and dale Jr, knowing who will easily win.
Danica is doing decent. That was a good save and Tony Eury Jr is doing a good job with her.
Well Danica had a good showing. Although it irritates me to no end that she was all they talked about. At the finish line the only 2 positions they mentioned were 1st and 7th. Gerhart and Danica. There are 6 other drivers that competed in the race and deserve to be mentioned. Then with the interviews the same, they rush through the winners interview to get to Danica. That’s a shame there are a lot of sponsors and drivers who deserve to be mentioned.

So are you saying the rest of us are dumb-asses that don’t register???
Why does registering make you some kind of genius or something???
I think Kyle@TMS is Rowdy in disguise.

TY Ganga, Even Rowdy, (Who although can and most always does take any article on here and make it a JR. bashing fest,) doesn’t need called out like this. Those kind of comments justify some of his remarks about JR’s fans as a hole and embarrass the rest of us JR. fans.
NASCAR FAN,
I can not stand the attention Jr gets, and this attention is derived from the majority of fans being Jr fans. As I have always said and Im sure Ganja will agree with me on this. On numerous occasions I have said it’s not all of Jr nation that is this way, but the fact is the ones who are normal are in the minority. I go to 4 to 5 races a year and when walking around all the tailgate festivities to the infiled. When I go out I always wear something Kyle Busch related purely because I like seeing the unprovoked reactions I get. Usually some guy wasted before the race has even started, thats has the typical derogatory comment about Kyle, so I stop, and talk to the people who say it. It’s always the same, he’s ugly, he’s a jerk, he’s gay and so on, then you get the he sucks, he cant drive and so on. Then with a few simple questions on Nascar history and Im talking recent history these die hard “nascar” fans say they are die hard “JR” fans, then with a simple Jr questions, it is very simple to see they know nothing about the sport, and they are on the JR is the greatest bandwagon. This usually results with some guys get mad stumble around like they want to start a fight, while there friends are apologizing saying how he’s like this when he drinks. There has also been the times where Im invited to have a beer and eat some of the best food known to man. My point behind all of this is that, the majority of Jr nation, are not nascar fans, they are not racing fans. They are fans of lets get out and party and cause some problems. Then you have the rest of Jr nation who are completely ashamed of people like that, and who have a realistic outlook on Jr as Ganja does. Ganja and I have had many discussions about Jr Kyle and so on with no issues. SO my apologies if offended you as a member of Jr nation, and yes I do speak alot about Jr, but I try to avoid the personal attacks on Jr (I said tried cause I have before), and stick strictly to facts, because facts are hard to argue. As you can see in majority of post, when a fact about Jr is presented it results in Kyle personal attacks, and the facts are never addressed.
well said rowdy, I really hope that i get to see you at a race one of these days, and wear my jr gear, you in your kyle gear and just share a good cold beer. THAT would really f^#^ with the rest of them
LOL, OMG

No, I’ll leave it at that, I’ll let you and Dumbo Rowdy figure out what I’m talking about or thinking about.
The drivers asked for more liberty and speed, and they got it. But inevitably, we’ll be subjected to an endless stream of frustrated drivers complaining about the over-aggressive driving.
Its all good Rowdy, Have a enjoyable season!
