Gaughan to fill in for Gordon at Daytona testing
Brendan Gaughan will fill in for Robby Gordon in the No. 7 Robby Gordon Motorsports Ford during the upcoming Sprint Cup test session at Daytona International Speedway.
Gordon is in Africa to compete in the Dakar Rally, which runs Jan. 5-20. With Gordon tied up, the No. 7 team opted to go with a substitute driver for the session, which begins Monday.
Will this guy bring daddy’s money and become the second driver for RGM?
Maybe Gaughan can bring his daddy’s money, and Menard can bring his daddy’s money and then they could at least break even on all the cars they wreck…. l0l
In all seriousness though I wish Robby the best of luck over in the Desert.
Brendan is a great driver he’s just had some bad luck and some horrible rides (his cup car). so you should all keep your negative comments about him to yourself…
Out of the 2 comments besides yours I do not see one single negative comment. The points made about his dads money are not negative IMO, and the ‘joke’ I made about the wrecked cars can be said for any low budget team, if they get an investor involved the original/main owner will not loose as much money when the team wrecks a car.
Fisha just stated a fact. That’s the reality of owning and competing.
