Friday practice at Indy rained out

NASCAR Nextel CupFriday’s practices were completely washed out at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, forcing NASCAR to delay Saturday’s NASCAR Nextel Cup qualifying to 4:05 p.m. EDT Saturday in order to allow teams a practice session in the morning.

Teams will practice from 8:30 to 11 a.m. EDT Saturday morning, then qualify in the afternoon. The cars will be impounded following that session, meaning they cannot be altered prior to Sunday’s Allstate 400 at the track.

    The headline reads friday qualifying but it was practice that was washed out just to let you all know the headline is off

    I was wondering why they would reschedule qualifying when they wouldnt do it at Daytona.
