F1: Three teams testing today in Jerez, Spain

Three teams were in action today at Jerez, kicking off another week of testing at the Spanish circuit.

Ferrari test drivers Marc Gene and Luca Badoer finished first and second on the time sheets.

Lewis Hamilton set the fourth fastest time behind Alex Wurz. Hamilton was only supposed to start his work on Wednesday but McLaren made a last minute change to give the GP2 Champion an additional day of testing.

Jerez – 10/10/06

4. L. Hamilton – McLaren Mercedes MP4/21 – 1:22,916 (+5,111) – 10 laps
5. N. Karthikeyan – Williams Toyota FW28 – 1:23,550 (+5,745) – 10 laps
