busch_kyle_daytona.jpgPenske Racing president Tim Cindric said the organization hoped to decide on a new crew chief for Kurt Busch within the next two weeks. He confirmed that Steve Addington, former crew chief for Busch’s younger brother, Kyle, is among the final “two or three” candidates. Penske is mulling at least two internal candidates as a replacement for Pat Tryson, who is leaving to run Martin Truex Jr.’s program at Michael Waltrip Racing.

Then we’ll have another guy that might have a swelled head in Nascar if his new crew chief makes him win alot.

I hope Steve goes with Kurt. They allready kinda know each other with Steve being crew chief for Kyle. I think Kurt and Steve would make a good team and Kurt and Kyle are my fave and to see the Blue Duce with a great crew cheif like Steve Addington. He could be a championship contender. Kurt finished right behind the Hendricks bunch in 4th and that is AMAZING.

Steve is probally one of the best crew chiefs in Nascar besides Knaus. If Kurt had addington Jimmie better WATCH OUT.
