if we look at the sport its the drivers like the pettys and the earnhardts who made this
sport what it is 2day. every1 makes bad calls..i know i have.. but the thing is petty is
doing whats best for this sport.. I would drive a car that had pettys name or earnhardts
name on the car. on the other hand conjoining teams 2gether like the pettys with another
team gets complicating and hard to understand what team owner is in charge.

Actually i was checking stats of current drivers without a ride and Kyle Petty had the best average finish. That was quite shock to me as you might imagine.

Great guys, good drivers, poor equipment. Put Mikey or Kyle in a Hendrick or Roush car and I’d bet they would both win a race and get at least 15 top 10’s

REALLY that little bush is winning quite a bit in those toyotas and mikey isnt doin sqaut except getting in the way . Everyone has an opinion

Along with like micheal waltrip I think these guys would have never been behind the wheel without connections. THey are both great guys but average drivers. ONly the best should be out there
Thats just the way it is ,family or not . ITs not a rite to drive its a privledge that is earned by hard work , sponsers , and driving ability ..

I will bet the farm that Richard and Kyle arent even speaking at this point. Kyle and Robby had the team going in the right direction but Richard brought in Boston Ventures and destroyed the whole company. I may be wrong but i think all this happened because of an old man with a bruised ego.

Kyle should’ve given up his seat a long time ago but his son’s death changed all that. I do like him behind a microphone. He knows what he’s talking about. Maybe he should just run the charity and announce? He’s done a great job with both up til now. That Petty family pride has hurt Richard and Kyle but they’re too stubborn to admit it. Ray has been decent with his analysis role on ESPN and he said once he bought his track he would take a back seat to NASCAR. So if these two guys are out of the loop, so be it.

I think kyle is a medocre driver and a great guy. GOing with petty name and gilette everham $ and marketing is the way to go.. I believe in a bad economy it is the only way those dodges will get up front.

I find it interesting that Richard says Kyle is cutting back, however Kyke is looking for a part time ride with another team. I know the Petty’s needed help but now he’s just a name on someone elses company, maybe he should have listened what other people were saying before he let Boston Ventures ruin Petty Enterprise, and come between a family.
