Earnhardt crew treated after wreck

Dale Earnhardt, JrSix pit crew workers for Dale Earnhardt Jr. were involved in a car accident Sunday morning on the way to Phoenix International Raceway, but all of them are expected to work the Checker Auto Parts 500 Sunday afternoon, team officials confirmed. All six men were treated and released at the PIR Infield Care Center after their vehicle was T-boned at an intersection near the track.

Crew chief Lance McGrew was not in the accident and didn’t want to speak about the incident Sunday morning when approached at the 88 AMP Energy Drink/National Guard Chevy hauler in the Sprint Cup garage. Earnhardt will start 18th in Sunday’s race.

  2. 2 gigolo george

Kerry musta been driving the guys to the track.

  3. 3 George Thompson

LOL Smoke is one to talk that stunt he pulled with JPM was just plain idiotic.

  4. 4 ROWDY BUSH Registered User

SMOKE is a 2 time series champion he has plenty of room to talk.

  5. 5 George Thompson

So is Bobby Labonte and where is he running? The point is they all pull stupid stunts and they all get mad when someone else does it to them.

    GEORGE,

You make no sense, what does were or how Labonte running have anything to do with SMOKES 100% correct comment about Jr. Jr is no talent SOB, the highest funded driver finished 25th in points lol, thats horrible. Jr still sucks

Smoke has also said many times that Jr is a great driver. You are the SOB.,….

AWWW SAM YOU CALLED ME A SOB HOW SWEET,

Your right Smoke has said JR is a great driver, and it has always been in front of the camera, this is what we call knowing how to work. He was working you ignorant jr fans, coddling jr nation. God forbid any driver says anything bad about JR and the dwindling jr. So what we all heard smoke say when he wasn’t in front of the camera was his true feeling and not what he had to say to be politically correct. Jr performance this year sums it up, HE SUCKS

    Are you really that dumb?

  10. 10 ROWDY BUSH Registered User

No George Jr nation is dumb,

Feeding into all the Jr hype, Its no secret the garage thinks Jr is an over88ted hack. What SMOKE said over the radio, is how he really felt. WHy else would he have said, he was mad his emotions got the best of him, and how he really felt came out. JR SUCKS this season proved, he is unable to adapt, or communicate effectively and this is a hole he has dug himself in.

LOL LOL LOL alleftturns.com has posted a story with JR shaking the presidents hand and saying the president has approved a bailout for the 88 team in 2010. To bad it wont help Hendrick has already dumped millions into that sinking ship.

In the Sprint Cup garage this year at Loudon JRs crew was the only team that was not hospitable. Kinda turned me off with JR. He needs to go in different competition if he wants to shine. Sprint Cup nowadays is not for him.

Rowdy Bush is too anti Jr – each to his own opinion but he needs to get a grip. Just becausehe doesn’t like Jr he sounds like a Kyle Busch fan -someone that would advocate breaking a guitar that was designed as a trophy. Rowdy don’t know your age but you need to grow up and face the real racing world.

    IULU

Yes I am anti Jr because he has nothing to do with the “real racing world” as you put it. Breaking a guitar is that all you can say, actually yes it is. Kyle Busch DESTROYED more records this year then anyone, that my friend is real racing world. The real racing world is that Jr is on the series highest funded team and he was made a fool by his team mates. Jr is a whiney lil brat who has had everything handed to him, and now he has been handed a top of the line car and he has done nothing with it. In the “real racing world” everyone is looking at Jr as a joke, for what he has failed to do. Bottom line is actions speak louder then words, and his are speaking loud and clear.
