Patrick signs three year deal to stay in IndyCar

Patrick signed a three-year contract to remain with Andretti Green Racing during last weekend’s event at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan. She will continue to drive the No 7 car with a Motorola-based sponsorship.
The folks at Dale Earnhardt Inc. are working at bringing the No 8 car to both the Nationwide and Cup series next year. The plan would be for Jeffrey Earnhardt, grandson of Dale, to drive the No 8 car in the Nationwide series and have that team based out of the DEI shops in Mooresville, [...]

Richard Childress Racing may be forced to shrink back to a three-car team if sponsorship isn’t found for the No. 07 car next season.
