Joey Logano broke the NASCAR Nationwide Series record for the youngest race winner after he took the checkered flag in the Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway at the age of 18.

Youngster Erik Darnell got a great restart and held off a charging Johnny Benson to win Saturday’s Cool City Customs 200 at the Michigan International Speedway. Darnell, in the No.99 Roush Fenway Racing Ford, crossed the finish line just 0.005 seconds ahead of the Michigan native.

Greg Biffle expects to sign a three-year extension with Roush Fenway Racing by the end of next week. Biffle recently canceled a trip outside of the country for a Tuesday brake test. He plans to use the free time around that to iron out the few remaining details on the deal.
