The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pocono 500 drew an estimated crowd of about 85,000 yesterday, “short of the usual 100,000.” There were “vacant seats in the grandstand and some empty spaces in the infield”

Barry Green, business manager for Jacques Villeneuve, said the former Formula One champion definitely wants to be in the Sprint Cup series in 2009.
