Kyle Busch continued his dominance with a strong qualifying effort to capture the pole for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race. Busch is the Sprint Cup points leader with three wins and seven top-10 finishes in 11 races.

After the busy NASCAR season ends, Busch is trying to get even more time behind the wheel of a car. This time, though, he’s looking at a different version of vehicle than he has become accustomed to.

Kyle Busch still hasn’t completely given up on the possibility of contending for the championship in the NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Craftsman Truck series this season. In fact, he says he will try to run in all three races in three different states in one upcoming weekend.

Greg Biffle said on Thursday he remains 100 percent committed to re-signing with Roush Fenway Racing.

Bobby Labonte said he is no longer agonizing over whether he will stay at Petty Enterprises or drive for someone else next season.
Labonte, speaking prior to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pit Crew Challenge, said he is likely within two or three weeks of having final answers concerning his driving career beyond this season.

This is it. For the final time in his long career, Dale Jarrett will strap in a NASCAR stock car and take the green flag. The 1999 Cup champion last competed in a points-paying race at Bristol in March, but this Saturday’s NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race will be Jarrett’s final race.

Less than two months away from defending his Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola victory, Jamie McMurray was part of a trio of drivers participating in a two-day Goodyear tire test on Tuesday and Wednesday at Daytona International Speedway.
