Sources are indicating that Joe Gibbs Racing is actively looking for a top line Sprint Cup driver to replace Tony Stewart, which is looking increasingly likely.

It was called the Dodge Challenger 500, but maybe Saturday night’s race at Darlington Raceway should have been called the “Dodge Challenged 500.” Dodge teams were hard-pressed to get anything going — about the only thing that Dodge had out front all night was the pace car.

Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Greg Biffle were in Sprint Cup cars at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on Monday night, but none of those drivers completed a lap. The three were practicing burnouts on the track’s frontstretch in preparation for Saturday’s Pennzoil Victory Challenge before the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.

Greg Biffle is sounding a little less certain about his desire to remain at Roush Fenway Racing. The driver said during Monday’s Nationwide Series test at Lowe’s Motor Speedway that he doesn’t know if Roush Fenway Racing is where he wants to be next season, citing a consistent pattern of team-inflicted mistakes.
