Rain washed out qualifying Friday at Bristol Motor Speedway, giving Hendrick Motorsports drivers Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon front-row spots when the field was set by last season’s points.

It has started raining at Bristol Motor Speedway and has brought Sprint Cup practice to a halt. The forecast is for more rain today and an even bigger chance for rain tomorrow. Stay tuned for updates.
