Dale Jarrett on Tuesday called on Goodyear to listen carefully to Tony Stewart’s complaints about the tires the company has produced this season.

Texas Motor Speedway officials say Goodyear will use effectively the same tire compound in the upcoming NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the track that it used a year ago.

Toyota officials weren’t pleased to be the only manufacturer not invited to the Goodyear tire test on Monday at Darlington Speedway.

Jeff Gordon knew Tony Stewart was unhappy with the Goodyear tires at Atlanta Motor Speedway before Sunday’s Sprint Cup race began.
He didn’t know how unhappy until Stewart began bashing the hard compound Goodyear brought to the 1.54-mile track in postrace comments.
