NASCAR docked Reed Sorenson and his Chip Ganassi Racing team docked 25 points Tuesday after the driver’s No. 41 Dodge was found to be too low in the front of the car following Sunday’s UAW-Ford 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.
Crew chief Jimmy Elledge was fined $25,000 and placed on probation until Dec. 31.

Carl Long to run Busch and Cup races in Charlotte

Long will pilot the #54 Fridel-Carter Motorsports Dodge in the Busch Series Dollar General 300, and the #08 E&M Motorsports Dodge in the Nextel Cup Bank of America 500.
