Boris Said, whose opportunity to race his No. 60 No Fear Energy Ford Fusion this weekend was lost when Friday’s qualifying session was rained out, will drive the No. 21 Little Debbie Ford Fusion instead, replacing Bill Elliott. Said was shocked when the offer was made by Elliott yesterday.

John Andretti will get the chance to see if he can help turn the BAM Racing program around as he takes over as driver of the No. 49 Nextel Cup car next weekend at Michigan. Andretti is replacing Mike Bliss, a team spokesman confirmed Saturday.

Last weekend’s Nextel Cup race at Pocono broadcast on ESPN received a 4.5 national rating, down 12 percent from last season’s event, according to Nielsen Media Research. Last year’s race received a 5.1 on TNT.

Ryan Newman’s team took top honors in the Checkers®/Rally’s® Double Drive-Thru Challenge during Sunday’s Nextel Cup event at Pocono Raceway.
