Steve Wallace OK following attempted mugging in Indy
11 Comments Quote selected text Published July 31st, 2007 in NASCAR News19 year-old RWI Racing Busch Series driver, Steve Wallace, is OK following being attacked in an attempted mugging Sunday evening in Indianapolis. Wallace suffered only minor cuts and abrasions in the attack and will compete as scheduled in this weekend’s Busch Series event at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada.
The partnership of Robert Yates Racing and Champ Car’s Newman-Haas-Lanigan Racing, announced Friday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, led to speculation that three-time Champ Car champion Sebastien Bourdais might be part of the deal.
