SPEED will air a one-hour special edition of The SPEED Report hosted by Mike Joy at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday following the funeral of NASCAR Vice Chairman and former Chairman, CEO and President Bill France Jr. The special will re-air at midnight ET.

Sources have told AutoRacingSport.com that NASCAR will suspend Penske Racing Dodge driver Kurt Busch for this weekends’ Nextel Cup Pocono race for his actions following a crash between himself and Joe Gibbs driver Tony Stewart. The penalty is expected to be handed down today.

A Visa spokesperson today refuted reports that the payment card company was close to a deal to become Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s new primary sponsor.
“We haven’t even had conversations,” said Visa spokesperson J.J. Carter.
