Dale Earnhardt Jr. has used his clout to get things changed in NASCAR before. His next target is the Car of Tomorrow.
A day after struggling with the new-look car at Richmond International Raceway, Earnhardt Jr. called on NASCAR to make it easier to turn and handle.
“It’s going to take some time to figure it out, [...]

Unruly fans banned from Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway after pelting Jeff Gordon’s car with beer cans and debris last Sunday also are being punished in North Carolina.

Montreal Canadiens owner George N. Gillett is close to a partnership arrangement with Evernham Motorsports.
Gillett, who also is the owner of the Liverpool soccer team in the English Premier League, would be the second major sports team owner to join NASCAR this season, following Red Sox owner John Henry’s buy-in to what is now Roush [...]

Rescheduled from Saturday night due to rain, the 400-lap (300 mile) race saw Chevy Impala SS drivers [...]

KURT BUSCH (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Avenger)
“I’m very disappointed we let that race get away. I’m very disappointed the Miller Lite Dodge didn’t win today, but that’s why they call it racing. We’ve got to be smart on pit road, too. We had a good car and the team worked well on pit stops. [...]
