Madame Tussauds Las Vegas will unveil wax figures of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and seven-time NASCAR Cup champion Richard Petty at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 9.
Earnhardt Jr. and Petty will be there to present their life-size wax likenesses in the Neon Garage at 2 p.m.

Intake-gate gets more complex by the day.
Michael Waltrip Racing vice president Ty Norris told ESPN.com Thursday that the company offered crew chief David Hyder an opportunity to come clean about the illegal additive found in the fuel system of Waltrip’s Toyota following qualifying for the Daytona 500.
Hyder didn’t do it.
In fact, he claims he can’t.

Former NASCAR stars Richard Petty and Darrell Waltrip and current driver Greg Biffle are tying to persuade state lawmakers to support a $368 million race track proposed for Washington state.
“I’m ready to race,” Petty said Wednesday as he met with supporters before going to a Washington State Labor Council function.
