Toyota Motorsports officials say the company will move forward with plans to buy 89 acres in Rowan County, N.C., northeast of Charlotte. Toyota plans to build a 30,000-35,000-square-foot facility that will house Toyota Racing Development USA Inc. and a chassis engineering operation.
