Chip Ganassi Racing has moved Juan Montoya to the #42 Texaco Dodge for the Nextel Cup season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday. Montoya, who will be making his Cup debut, is now guaranteed a spot in the field based on owner points.

Dale Jarrett will be making his final start for Robert Yates Racing in the #88 UPS Ford this Sunday at Homestead. Jarrett’s best finish at Homestead is a fifth-place finish – scored during his championship winning season of 1999.

Vegas Grand Prix announced today that the Historic Grand Prix (HGP) will open its season at the inaugural Vegas Grand Prix, April 6-8, 2007. Currently scheduled to race in the historic event are former open-wheel legends Arie Luyendyk, Danny Sullivan and Al Unser Jr.

Dale Earnhardt Inc. Vice President Richie Gilmore disputed reports that his company could be buying all or part of Robert Yates Racing.
