Renault has pledged to stay in Formula One for the long haul.
The French squad, having won the drivers’ and constructors’ double with Fernando Alonso in 2005 and 2006, was only a short time ago rumoured to be eyeing the sport’s nearest exit.

The BMW Sauber F1 Team will be starting its test drives for the 2007 season on 28th November. During the first test in Barcelona and the second in Jerez, 24-year-old German driver Timo Glock will be granted the opportunity to take an F1.06 out onto the track.

BMW-Sauber has confirmed reports that Sebastian Vettel will appear in a third formula one car for the team at grands prix in 2007.
The rumour was first aired at the Brazilian grand prix, despite the demise of the rule allowing test drivers to use an extra car in practice sessions on Friday.

Honda has confirmed its interest in Red Bull refugee Christian Klien for 2007.
After the Austrian driver travelled to the Brazilian grand prix last month for talks, 23-year-old Klien was spotted last week at the factory of the Brackley based F1 squad.
